To mitigate risk across complex, high-cost, and technically demanding change initiatives, Bank of America deployed PROPHET across its Technical Programmes, using it for individual and team development, and to align technical, operational, and client teams within a £200 million change programme.
Approximately 1,000 individuals from the Corporate and Investment Banking division - alongside technical and operations teams - participated in PROPHET to strengthen collaboration and decision-making across a complex change programme. Internal project teams were responsible for delivering highly technical, transformational initiatives, working closely with client, risk, compliance, and operations colleagues distributed across the USA, UK, and India.
The Initiative
A cost-effective, scalable deployment that integrated seamlessly into the programme - delivering immediate insight and practical value to 1,000 executives from day one.
The Process
The process involved:
- Individual Profiling: Each team member completed the PROPHET psychometric instrument, receiving personalised insight into their behavioural traits, strengths, and working preferences.
- Team insight: Individual profiles were then brought together to reveal the team dynamics as a whole.
The Transformation
At a critical point in the programme, PROPHET's insights enabled:
- Teams to accelerate relationship-building and forge connections quickly, regardless of background, location, or function.
- By taking an insight-driven approach to collaboration, teams were able to harness their diversity as a strength.
- Ultimately, the teams collaborated successfully to deliver the programme on time and within budget.
